About Journal

Geomatics and Environmental Engineering (ISSN Online: 2300-7095; ISSN Print: 1898-1135) is an interdisciplinary, international, peer-reviewed and open access journal. It provides an advanced forum for research related to the measurement and visualisation of human surrounding spatial phenomena and spatial objects, including geodesy and cartography in its broadest sense, as well as development and environmental protection problems using engineering and technical methods. It is published since 2007 year by the AGH University Press (Kraków, Poland). From 2007 to 2022 the journal was published quarterly. Currently, six issues are published annually.

The journal has been indexed in Web of Science since 2023 and in Scopus since 2019. The first Journal Impact Factor is expected in 2026.

Other databases in which the journal is indexed are Astrophysics Data System, BazTech, BazEkon, Crossref, Dimensions, DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, Library of science, Scilit and SCImago.

The Rejection Rate was 23% in 2020, 68% in 2021, 77% in 2022, 82% in 2023, and 64% in 2024.

The electronic version of the journal is the primary one.

Publication in the journal is free of charge.
